Christmas Party at the Youth Club

On Wednesday 12th December The Cathedral Youth Club celebrated a Kids Christmas party. Parents and kids were welcome.

The highlight of the afternoon was Santa's visit to the Cathedral Youth Club. He came on a horse and trap and gave a ride to all the young people present at the party.

Santa was very please to see that Mrs Santa was at the Cathedral youth Club, she helped him with some big girls.

He came with sweets and presents and  took time with each of children to ask them what they wanted for christmas.

A long cue was formed to talk to Santa!! we were all really excited!!

Santa is always very busy at this time of the year so he had to left the party to hear more children's wishes for christmas. But the party wasn't over and childrens and parents had supper and disco at the Cathedral Youth Club.

Remembrance Service

Last Friday the young people from the Cathedral Youth Club planted 99 crosses in the Apprentice Boys Garden in memory of the 99 local men who were lilled in the First World War, many of them from the Fontain area. It was great to see members of the community come for the service conducted by Rev. Dr. T. Robert Buick and Very REv'd William W. Morton. We also appreciate Duputy Consuler Mayor Mary Hamilton taking time out of her busy schedule to come to service in the Fountain
